Fortune Magazine recently released its 2011 list of “World’s Most Admired Companies,” and Travelers is recognized for the sixth consecutive year. Travelers improved its rank from fourth to third in the Property Casualty sector, behind Berkshire Hathaway and Zurich Financial Services.
The most admired ranking is determined by popular vote cast by executives and board members at Fortune 1,000 companies. Participants rank companies’ overall reputation, including for social responsibility, quality of products and services and quality of management, as well as financial soundness and global competitiveness.
